The following is excerpted from writer Suz Redfearn’s article “In Search of Site Performance Predictors,” which appears in The CenterWatch Monthly, February 2011 issue. 

Only 7% of investigative sites in the U.S. deliver on promises made in their initial study feasibility assessment. In any other industry, that would be totally unacceptable. To make matters worse, in any multi-center study, sponsors report regularly that only a small proportion of sites (~20%) over-enroll and 30% meet their enrollment targets.  Half of all sites under-enroll or fail to enroll a single patient into a clinical trial. more...

You cannot imagine how much I enjoyed reading this article. Thanks for sharing this information! We have both a private practice and a separate research entity with its own staff and management personnel. We have been very successful with our enrollment numbers because a large majority of our patients do come from the private practice. However, our main focus is the research and we are very proactive in networking with other physicians in the area - this, along with having a dedicated recruiting department has added to our success.

I would like to know if someone have a standard questions to ask to sponsors when you have the first teleconference regarding an upcoming trial and the sponsor is still in site selection process. 
 
If someone can give me a link i'll appreciate that
