I think this article is quite valuable and I am thankful we are discussing the issue. We need more stats like this! I think that the USA overhead percent is on the low end but I also believe that the naive sites are affecting the true number. It is important to negotiate budgets that reflect our true costs versus just throwing out flat numbers; furthermore, it is our responsibility to know our worth. If we don't know what we are doing then how can we expect to succeed and make progress?

Do you see the use of Molecular Diagnostics (FISH or aCGH) as a way to speed up the Processes and reduce the cost of Clinical Trials ?
