As Vice President of Site Development & Quality Guidance, Dan Milam brings indepth study management experience in vaccinations and immunology to bear on the operational efficiencies of RxTrials partner sites. Milam works with the compliance officer and recruitment team to ensure that study sponsors’ objectives are met, particularly as regards subject protection and data integrity. He also supports the RxTrials consultation division with his proven expertise in study management, site relationships and operational excellence.
Milam’s background includes positions as Clinical Trial Manager and Regional Site Manager for Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines arm of Sanofi Aventis group, and a CCRA for a mid-sized CRO. While at Sanofi Pasteur, he initiated a Site Relationships Management program that focused on ongoing communication and process improvement between the company and its partnering sites. Milam also has diversified experience as a director of research projects for state government and as a clinical research associate, food scientist, and chemist for a Fortune 200 company.
A CCRC since 2002, Milam earned his BA in Biology with Pre-medicine emphasis from Greenville College, Greenville, Illinois, and completed master’s level coursework in financial reporting and analysis, and management skills at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio.
